Gear Motions, Inc., a successful, growing, employee owned precision gear manufacturing company, seeks an experienced full time Financial/Human Resource Manager at their Niagara Gear Division in Buffalo, NY.
Qualified candidates must have a minimum bachelor degree in Accounting or Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting, as well as a minimum of 7 years of Accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment with Human Resource experience. The Financial/Human Resource Manager must be well-organized; have the ability to multi-task, good record keeping skills and the ability to get along with a variety of individuals. This position will be responsible to identify issues and initiate solutions at our Buffalo operations. This role will also perform day-to-day administrative human resources functions for our Buffalo operations and communicate with Corporate human resource department for guidance for all unresolved issues and questions. The Financial/Human Resource Manager’s overall responsibility will be to lead, oversee, and perform various accounting functions including general ledger closing through financial statements and perform accounting functions for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and General Ledger activities.
