Spur Gears

Spur gears, also known as straight gears, are the most common type of gear. They are used to transmit motion between two parallel shafts and are known for being highly efficient and producing a lot of power.

Gear Motions is capable of producing spur gears in a wide range of sizes and volumes with quality levels up to AGMA Q15. Whether cut or precision ground, our extensive experience combined with our fleet of state-of-the-art equipment allows us to manufacture high precision, high quality spur gears to your custom specifications.

We’ve been designing and manufacturing precision spur gears for more than a century and have built a reputation for quality and proven performance. Whether large or small, we’d love the opportunity to help you and your company on your next gear manufacturing project.

Ground Spur Gears

Our precision ground spur gears meet the highest quality requirements in precision and functionality. From high to low volume, we can provide high quality ground spur gears in a timely manner to meet your demands. Our robotically loaded threaded wheel gear grinders easily accommodate high volume needs, while our manually loaded profile gear grinders are ideal for lower volumes.
