NEW Non-Backdriveable Gearbox Technology

Gear Motions will be introducing brand-new technology at the MPT Expo that hasn’t been seen or heard anywhere before. Be one of the first to see the patented non-backdriveable gearbox technology in action at Booth 3531. You won’t want to miss it!

On-Site Precision Manufacturing Consultation

Our booth will be expertly staffed with our top sales and engineering teams who will be ready and waiting to discuss your precision manufacturing needs. We’ll even have a semi-private conference area right in our booth, so bring along your project specifications and have a detailed discussion about your manufacturing needs in person with our gear experts. If even more confidentiality is needed, we can escape the floor and go to a private conference room.

Precision Manufacturing Solutions

Gear Motions’ precision product capabilities are extensive, ranging from precision ground and cut helical gears, spur gears, pump gears, bevel gears and worm gears, to shafts, splines, sprockets, timing pulleys, and assemblies. In addition, our full-service gear manufacturing services include precision gear grinding, gear cutting, and gear inspection, just to name a few. We also offer engineering services such as prototyping, reverse engineering, and redesign, as well as full gear design through partnerships. Gear Motions has the flexibility to meet all of your precision manufacturing needs, no matter how complex. From Inspiration to Realization, we can make what you can imagine.

More About The Team at Gear Motions and What’s to Come

The MPT Expo is a perfect time to learn more about our company beyond our product capabilities and manufacturing services. For instance, did you know that Gear Motions is a 100% Employee Owned Company? That means that each and every person involved in the design and manufacture of your precision products is committed to the company’s success. Employees have a stake in the company and its future, so they truly care about exceeding expectations and delivering high-quality solutions.

And high quality precision products are what we’re all about. Across our three divisions, we’ve been producing precision products for almost 300 collective years. Our Oliver Gear Division has been in operation since 1892, and our Nixon Gear Division will celebrate 100 years in business in 2020. We’re also ISO 9001:2015 Certified, and have a strong internal quality system to ensure every piece we produce meets our high standards.

You may also be interested to know that Gear Motions has developed a disaster recovery plan, which includes providing redundant capacity and capabilities across multiple locations to protect our customers.

Speaking of capacity and capabilities, we’re excited to announce that Gear Motions will be making a substantial investment in new equipment, adding three brand new Reishauer robotic gear grinders over the next two years, with the first Reishauer RZ 260 being delivered in December 2019.  The machines will be added to our facilities in Syracuse, New York, and Buffalo, New York to further expand our capacity for gear grinding and add new capabilities such as twist control and super finishing.

As you can see, we have a lot to offer, and there are a lot of exciting things on the horizon for Gear Motions! Don’t miss your chance to see our new technology, meet our experienced team in person and discuss how Gear Motions can help with your precision manufacturing needs at the Motion + Power Technology Expo, Booth 3531! See you there!
