Gear Motions – Buffalo Operations was nominated and selected as the winner of the Operational Excellence category by Buffalo Business First. This award is in recognition of the Team and company for making the impossible possible in taking two manufacturing facilities and making them one word-class facility.

In 2018, Gear Motions embarked on a strategic plan aimed at consolidating its Buffalo operations under one roof. This visionary plan involved building a state-of-the-art facility, which was completed in 2022. The consolidation efforts culminated in a momentous ribbon-cutting ceremony, marking the successful relocation of all operations to the new facility at 75 Pirson Parkway. This significant achievement not only streamlined operations but also showcased Gear Motions’ commitment to innovation and efficiency.

 

Plans for 2023 and Beyond

 

Gear Motions has exciting plans for the future. The company is set to launch its first-ever product line, Kinatech which is a non-backdriveable motion control system that holds any load in place without using electricity, pneumatics, hydraulics, friction, or any other external braking source.
