Dean Burrows Reappointed to National Small Business Association Board of Trustees.

Gear Motions President and CEO, Dean Burrows, will continue serving on the Board of
Trustees for the National Small Business Association (NSBA) for the 2026–2027 term.
Founded in 1937, NSBA is the nation’s oldest small-business advocacy organization
and represents small and mid-sized companies across a wide range of industries. The
organization works to ensure that small businesses have a voice in policy discussions
affecting economic growth, regulation, taxation, and workforce development.

For manufacturing companies like Gear Motions, these issues are not abstract policy
debates. Decisions made in Washington directly influence supply chains, access to
capital, workforce availability, and the ability for American manufacturers to remain
competitive.

“As a manufacturer, we experience firsthand the challenges and opportunities facing
small and mid-sized businesses,” said Burrows. “Serving on the NSBA Board
allows me to contribute to conversations that help ensure small manufacturers continue
to play a strong role in the U.S. economy.”

Gear Motions specializes in precision gear manufacturing and transmission solutions
that support industries ranging from aerospace and defense to motorsports and
industrial equipment. Like many American manufacturers, the company operates in an
environment shaped by workforce development challenges, supply chain shifts, and
evolving economic policy.

Participation in organizations such as NSBA provides an opportunity for manufacturing
leaders to share practical perspectives from the shop floor and the supply chain with
policymakers and industry peers.

Burrows has been active with NSBA for several years and continues to
support initiatives focused on strengthening the small business ecosystem and ensuring
that manufacturers have a seat at the table when policies affecting American industry
are discussed.
