One speaker who stood out was Harry Moser of the Reshoring Initiative who began teaching us some of the reasons we have been hearing so much about “Reshoring American Manufacturing”.
The statistics tell us that in 2014, more than 60,000 manufacturing jobs were brought back to the United States, which equates to a 400% increase since the height of “offshoring” in 2003.
Harry says there are three main drivers as to why American manufacturing jobs are being brought back to the United States:
